These are original tunes I've written, recorded - usually "all of the above". Nothing here is worth stealing, but everything is ©'64-'05 Chipland music, yada yada yada. They may be freely distributed otherwise :) BIG BIG WARNING - CAVEAT - Whatever you want to call it. Some of these songs are barely above what I would call "crappy" as far as audio quality goes. Many of these songs were taken off of cassette tapes that were 10 to 20 years old and older, there may be hissing, pops, dropouts - anyhow - I still like 'em and so I put them up anyway. I will mark these songs as "LOW FI", but don't let that keep you from checking them out. These are ordered from most recent to oldest, the new tunes are digital quality.

Saxofiles
This section is me doing my thang, saxophone. Various bands, projects, tings, mon, you know. These tunes are not necessarily ones that I've written - those are in the originals section, regardless of what I'm playing or which band it is in :).
This is really a small sampling, unfortunately it is all I've been able to acquire or still have at this point in time. Not represented here are The Forrest Jourdan Band, Zizzer Zazzer Zuzz, Gilligan Stump, Skinny White Boyz and several others that have been blurred by the mists of time. Bill Jourdan, if you are out there, why don't I have any of our music?! Anyhow, some of this stuff I do have in varying states of listenability - I may or may not get it up here one of these days.

A flash-in-the-pan, kick ass rock band.

Black Cat - (Devore/JChipman) 3:53 128kbps MP3 - This song was one of my favorites. It totally captures the sax/gtr unison sound that was a trademark of the Roam's sound. This track was recorded live at the Saxon Pub on South Lamar.
Broken Wings (Devore/Roam) 22:57 128kbps MP3 - The Roam liked to jam - and why not, this band had the chops to jam all night long. This tune was exemplary of that - note the length before you download this one, file size is 21.02MB but IMHO. worth the wait :)

Blue Matter 1998 David Abeyta - Gtr, Chris Chipman - tenor sax, John Chipman - Drums, Edwin Livingston - Bass
A jazz quartet, all of these originals were penned by David Abeyta, guitar ace now playing with Reckless Kelly along with ex-George Devore bassist , Jimmy McFeeley. John Chipman, my brother now spends his time between John Dee Graham and the Resentments. This was really a great CD and I've chosen four different songs from it - I was really proud of this one.
